It’s that time of year again. Awards Season was officially kicked off last night with the Peoples Choice Awards, which I watched because it seems I have a death wish. But next week brings us the Golden Globes which should prove to be a little less painful. Anyway, I was going to post my pick for the Golden Globes but as I was looking at the nominations I realized that I’ve seen so few of the nominations especially in the movie categories that it would be kinda pointless. So instead a few comments:

For Best Television Series-Drama I would have to go with Grey’s Anatomy. Lost did not hold my interest last season and I still have like three for four episodes to watch from what has aired this season. As for 24, it was a fun ride of a season so I would not be sad to see it win, and the two other nominated series (Big Love and Heroes) I have yet to watch.

Best Performance by an Actor In a Television Series – Drama, my vote would have to go to Hugh Laurie, for sure.

Best Television Series - Musical Or Comedy, Weeds all the way.

Now I have to get watching in time for the next show.

This is Murphy. I spent New Year's Eve with him and my sister. It was a fun night of too much junk food and playing Sonic the Hedgehog. I love Sonic, those new 3D games confuse me.
