csi: lame…

Trouble sleeping can make you do stupid things. Stupid things like watching csi: lame, also known as csi: miami. Last night it was one of those late night reruns which can be great in putting you to sleep so I gave it a try. The “a” story revolved around a man who was killed after a speed dating event. “You know what they say, speed kills” said in great csi fashion. Oh, Horratio, master of the cliché. Robbery as a motive was quickly ruled out by the money in his wallet. And pointing to a crime of passion his car was vandalized, with acetone, the main ingredient in things such as nail polish remover. When talking to the man that ran the speed dating event the dectives were given a list of the women that attended and their professions. Lucky for them one of the woman worked as a hair dresser therefore would have access to acetone, so naturally she became their prime suspect. But wait, don’t all woman and men for that matter have access to acetone, you know because its sold at most stores. I myself rarely wear nail polish, and even I have two bottles. I don’t know who did it, if it was the hair dresser or not because frankly I didn’t care enough to stick it out. LAME

Champion Glove Hunter...

For many years now my family has been telling the story of our cat, Cocoa and her glove hunting adventures. She was never one for hunting mice. That's not to say that she hasn't caught one or two in her life (she is 17 now) but she always preferred to hunt gloves. Not big gloves but small stretch gloves like a kid would wear, that's her thing. We've made up stories about her adventures. My dad likes to say that she is the "number one, champion glove hunter". We thought that she had retired, but it hasn't seem to stuck. Over the last few months she has come back full force, nabbing on average three a night. This would just be a cute story if it weren't for the fact that this hunting is done exclusively at night and is accompanied by lots of "meowing".
I spent the last week at my parents and stayed up trying to get some video of this act. This is the best I got. Enjoy!
