Your two cents...

Well actually 5 cents. Upon returning a book one day late to my local library I was informed that I owed 5 cents because their late fee policy is five cents a day. While I understand that charging something for late books is a good idea it just seems that the charge of 5 cents a day is a little silly. I mean somehow they have to keep track of these late fees and it kinda seems like a waste to me. Anyway I was telling a friend and new reader about this and she said that maybe they haven't changed their late few policy since 1954. Yeah maybe inflation has not caught up with them.
